Our waste, the garbage we throw in the dumpster every day, the sewage water from towns and cities, and agricultural, livestock or industrial waste, can be recycled to obtain a high-value fuel.

This fuel is obtained through an anaerobic digestion process via a biodigester. In the absence of oxygen, these wastes decompose, giving off biogas and a remaining by-product, the digestate, which can be used as fertilizer for soil improvement. This reduces environmental impact.

Biogas is an alternative and less polluting fuel. It consists mainly of methane and CO2, although it also contains other compounds.

The biogas is subjected to a purification process called “biogas upgrading” to achieve a homogeneous energy suitable for use. During this process, biogas is cleaned in order to adapt it to the appropriate conditions of employment.
